The winter season is coming, and with the change of the season comes a change in your boy’s fashion style. There are probably lots of winter looks for boys and it’s not really that difficult to find the best winter look for your son. Use what clothes you can find in your son’s wardrobe and learn how to mix and match different apparels to come up with a fresh new style.

Most boys just love to hang out wearing casual attire. You can achieve this simply through layers of cool casual items. Choose tees that have cool graphics in them and layer it with either a button-up shirt or a hoody. In choosing jeans, consider a pair that is kind of loose but not baggy. Kids love semi-loose jeans with some details on them. A Chucks or a pair of boots will complete the look.

The sports star attire is perfect for boys who are into sports. They simply love hanging in the open with a nice pair of track pants and sports tee top. A Nike sweater or an Adidas jersey would look perfect as outer garment, although your boy may choose to simply wear a jacket that represents his school. A pair of sporty shoes appropriate for the sports he’s involved in will wrap things up.

Now that boy rock bands are starting to get popular, you might just want to encourage your kid to adopt the rocker look. Get him tees that are inspired by famous rock artists and match it with semi-rugged jeans that has some rips and hole designs. While a hoody may work as a jacket, a military pullover may give him a tougher look. And don’t forget to get him a pair of rock boots to stomp the stage with.

Since the preppy look is back in style, you might want to consider dressing your boy with this style. The new and improved preppy look has become more casual and has developed more personality in it. If you’re not familiar with the preppy look, all you need to achieve it is to get your boy some Polo or rugby shirt, a white or light blue button-down layered with a blazer or a hoody, casual pants or trousers, and athletic shoes.

Don’t be surprised when your kid starts to play dress up since it is during the pre-adolescent years that either boys or girls learn to develop a sense of fashion. Only remember never to force any fashion style to your child but let him choose for himself.
